Happy Days – Bucket Filled

Making play based
learning easy,
meaningful and fun!

Welcome to Happy Days - Bucket Filled

I have been an Early Childhood Educator working in both Australia and the USA over the past 10 years. My passion is creating positive learning environments for children in which learning through play is fundamental. Activities that are stimulating, inviting, learning enriched and interest based is my emphasis, because children should enjoy their early years; It’s through a love of learning that a lifelong platform for future learning growth takes place.

I have created this space for everyone to enjoy, learn and grow with their children.

Enjoy!

A Little About Us

I have been an Early Childhood Educator working in both Australia and the USA over the past 10 years. My passion is creating positive learning environments for children in which learning through play is fundamental. Activities that are stimulating, inviting, learning enriched and interest based is my emphasis, because children should enjoy their early years; It’s through a love of learning that a lifelong platform for future learning growth takes place.

I created Happy Days Buckets Filled during the COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020. With a lot of people working from home with children around full time, and through my own need to keep my very active children stimulated, I started to post some pictures online of our daily activities. The response from my friends and contacts was overwhelming, with many asking for more detail and more fun ideas to do with their children keeping them occupied, while still educating them and maintaining learning during a period of craziness. Hence the blog was born! With the help of my amazing brother Adam we created this site as a way to bring some positivity to the world and to help all the parents at home, with ideas to stimulate their amazing little people.

I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I have had creating it!

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my immediate family for their support and help with bringing this blog to life. My brother for being the mastermind behind the entire site; my sister-in-law for her expertise in social media and having us known; my children for being the demonstrators, and of course none of this could happen without  my husband and his constant support and encouragement. Thank you!
