Activities to have Fun, Learn and Create
Active and Sensory
Active experiences are those that encourage children to be aware of their bodies and promotes complex motor development. Physical development is so important in the early years- it promotes healthy growth and positive development and helps to support brain development and thinking.
Sensory experiences are those that stimulate the senses- touch, smell, hearing, taste and sight. Children learn best by doing; by providing opportunities for children to engage with sensory experiences, you are allowing your children to explore, develop and build upon their motor senses as they play and make new discoveries.
