Alphabet match is a super easy literacy activity that is quick to set up and complete. Minimal resources required and a learn at your own pace style; this is a great learning opportunity to learn, consolidate and understand alphabet letters in both upper and lower case letters.
What you will need
- Large piece of paper
- Coloured markers

Steps
- Use a marker to write the alphabet in UPPER CASE letters A through to Z across the top of your page.
- Along the bottom of your page write in LOWER CASE and scramble the letters a through z.
- Now offer the page to your child. Start at A and ask them to identify the letter and then find its matching lower-case letter. Link the letters by drawing a line from the capital letter to the lower-case letter.
- Repeat the above step until all letters of the alphabet have been linked.
